Meet The Team

Tooldeo Gooljar

Home Manager

Tooldeo joined the Grange in March 2016 as our Home Manager. He is a registered nurse with many years' experience in elderly and dementia care. Tooldeo is RM and RMN qualified. Tooldeo is looking forward to helping the staff and residents with any queries they have and to continue to make The Grange a happy and loving environment.

Grace Sumagpao

Deputy Manager

Grace joined The Grange in February 2012 as an RGN with 15 Years' experience in the UK both clinical and management. At present Grace is deputy manager and is very driven in her job caring for both her staff and the residents. Grace shares her knowledge and passion with all the staff.

Abigial-Evans

Administrator

Abigail has been part of The Grange Family for 10 years. She has worked as a Health Care Assistant and recently has moved over to office admin duties providing support to the management team. She has an excellent relationship with both the staff and residents and her experience is invaluable.

Christopher Pigera

Head Chef and Catering Manager

Chris has been the Chef/Catering Manager at The Grange for 6 years. He is extremely flexible in catering for all dietary requirements and makes sumptuous meals. He has a fantastic team working for him who always bring smiles to residents' faces. Chris has regular meetings to discuss the residents' likes and dislikes and regularly reviews the menus. Chris is extremely popular with our residents and his catering has been complimented by both families and residents with one resident mentioning that it is "Restaurant standard"

Stella White

Housekeeping supervisor

Stella supervises the housekeeping personnel to ensure we maintain a clean, orderly and attractive home. She has worked at The Grange for 9 years. She has an NVQ in housekeeping and cares passionately about maintaining high standards of housekeeping at The Grange.

Bryony Smith & Carol Taylor

Activities Co-ordinators

Bryony and Carol our enthusiastic activities team have a passion for working with and assisting our lovely residents at The Grange.

They have continue to deliver our lovely residents' favourite activities across all three floors and produce special unique events for The Grange. As a team they have created a strong chain of communication with relatives and friends of The Grange.

Activities include: Flower Arranging, Bingo, Armchair Exercises, Themed Talks, In Door Sports, Entertainment by external instrumentalists, singers and dancers, Reminiscence Tearoom, Cooking & Baking, Crafts and Painting. They also pride themselves in providing one to one activities for those residents confined to their rooms.

Kelly Humphreys

Moving and Handling Trainer

Kelly provides moving and handling training to all staff within the home to ensure that they are protecting the residents and themselves. Kelly was a Health Care supervisor at The Grange for 13 years and her relationship with the residents proves invaluable when it comes to assessing the residents and their safety.

Basil Carvalho

Head of Maintenance

Basil first joined the team in 2007 and after a short break away we are delighted that he has re-joined us in the of summer 2017. He is responsible for maintaining the building and grounds which he does to a very high standard in a timely manner. He has a great sense of humour and his hard work is appreciated by both staff and residents.
